Notifications in Scan My File
Scan My File integrates a powerful and customizable notification system to keep users informed about critical events. These notifications primarily pertain to User Management and Token Management.
Types of Notifications:
User Management Notifications:
New User Addition: Alerts when a new user joins your organization on the platform.
User Role Changes: Notifications for when a user's role or permissions change.
User Deletion: Alerts for when a user is removed from the organization's platform.
Token Management Notifications:
Token Purchase: Notifications for when tokens are added/purchased.
Token Consumption Alert: Alerts when token consumption nears your set limit.
Token Exhaustion: Warnings when your token balance is running low or is exhausted.
Customizing Notification Preferences:
To ensure you receive only the information that's pertinent to you:
Navigate to the 'Account Management' > 'Notifications' section of your account.
Click on 'Notification Preferences'.
Here, you can toggle ON or OFF specific notifications. For instance, if you only want to be alerted about token-related matters, you can turn off user management notifications.
Notification Visibility and Duration:
For All Users: Once a notification is generated, all users within the organization will be able to see it. This ensures complete transparency and awareness.
Duration: Notifications are stored for a span of 30 days, post which they will be automatically removed to declutter your notifications section.
Managing Notifications:
Reading Notifications: To mark a notification as read, click on the specific notification. Once marked as 'Read', it will no longer appear in the alert system but will still be available in your notifications history.
Unreading Notifications: If you've mistakenly marked a notification as read or wish to revert it for any reason, you can mark it as 'Unread'. This will reintroduce it to your alert system, allowing you to address it later.
Note: Staying on top of notifications ensures you're always in the loop about the goings-on in your organization's Scan My File account. It's recommended to periodically review and clear notifications to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
